ACNEDAP GEL 5%
Description:
Acnedap 5 % Gel which is even known as diaminodiphenyl sulfone or DDS for short, is an antibiotic which is commonly used in compound with rifampicin and clofazimine for the nursing of leprosy. It is also used as a second-line medication for the treatment and prevention of pneumocystis pneumonia and also in the prevention of toxoplasmosis in those patients who have poor immune function. In addition, it is also used in the treatment of acne, dermatitis herpetiformis, and other various skin related conditions. Acnedap 5 % Gel is available twice topically and by mouth. acnedap 5 % Gel via the mouth was one of the first medications used in the nursing of moderate to severe acne, and is still sometimes prescribed for the nursing of gross cases.Hypersensitivity reactions occur in some patients who are on this medication. This reaction may be more frequent in patients who are receiving multiple-drug therapy.
How to work?
Acnedap Gel is an antibiotic. It works by restrain the manufacture of folic acid in acne-causing bacteria (P. acnes), thereby stopping their promotion. In addition, its antiinflammatory effects help reduce redness and swelling due to acne.
How to use?
aczone can be used to treat twice adult acne and acne in teens 12 and over. Interestingly, in clinical trials, women saw more amendment than men when using this nursing, but it's still an impressive choice for guys.It's fairly gentle, as far as acne medications go. If topical retinoids (like Retin-A or Differin) are just too much for your skin to handle, making it excellent dry, red and peeling, Aczone can be a good optional. It generally is not as hard on the skin as topical retinoids can be. Aczone is a pregnancy group C medicine, which means no good studies have been done and we do not know how it may affect a developing fetus. Let your dermatologist know if you are pregnant.
Dosage:
Take a missed dose as soon as you think about it. If it is close to the time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your normal time. Do not take 2 doses at the same time or extra doses. Do not change the dose or stop this drug. Talk with the doctor.Wash and dry the affected areas. Apply a thin layer of gel to the affected areas once daily at bedtime. Avoid the eyes, lips and nose. There may be a worsening of acne during the first few weeks of therapy because adapalene promotes the growth of pimples that have begun to form but are not yet visible. Therefore, treatment should not be stopped if acne appears to be worsening. Beneficial effects should be seen by 8 to 12 weeks.
Warning:
do not take by mouth. Consult with your physician before using this drug on open wounds, dry, chapped, irritated, or sun-burned skin.
wash your hands before and after applying Acnedap Gel 5%. Clean and dead the skin tract to be treated.
do not wash the treated area after immediately applying acnedap Gel 5%. Also procrastinate the use of other products on the treated area unless directed by your physician.
applying an excessive amount may result in pilling. Use a slim layer or lesser batch of drug to avoid pilling.

Storage:
Store it at controlled room temperature (20°-25°C). Protect from light.
